Think You Know Phishing? Here Are 3 More Email Scams to Watch!

Hey everyone. Today I've got three more tips for you to keep your eyes wide and open to be able to spot those scam and phishing emails that are trying to defraud you. The first one is to hover over a link to look at the background URL that you're going to, if you're using a mouse on a mac or windows, just hover the mouse over the link.

If you're on a phone or a tablet, press and hold the link. That's the key. Press and hold it. When you do, it'll pop up a little window and it will show you the URL. Take a look at those URLs. Look before you click. Second one I'd like to share with you is to be aware of unsolicited attachments. Look, mom is always gonna send me pictures of her dog, and my colleagues are probably gonna be sending me a PDF or a Word document within the office.

I know those people and I know the type of attachments they're gonna send, but if I get something from someone I don't know with an attachment, I'm not opening it. And the last thing for you is to verify personal information request. Here's what I mean. The credit card companies, your bank, et cetera, they're not gonna be asking for sensitive information. Like your social security number or a password.

Folks, if this was great for you today, I'd love for you to share it with someone else to make their life wonderful as well. Thanks. Talk to you soon.
