What is Cyber Hygiene?

If we could just do some cyber hygiene, what does that mean? Well, let's take a wire transfer, for example. If I received emails from my friend Jon on a wire transfer that I need to make to him for $10,000,  Great. He was kind enough to send me an email with all of the instructions of what I need to do.

What's a good hygiene best practice? Let me pick up my phone and call Jon at the number that I have for him in my phone and say, "Hey, Jon, I'm just calling to confirm the email that you sent me. Here's what I see. Thanks very much, Jon. The wires on its way." We would call that two-factor authentication, right?

I've got an email.  And I've got a phone call. It's that simple.
