Support the Miami Rescue Mission

  • November 26, 2013

Here's a recent Radio Interview with Jon Garber from Connections and Marilyn Brummit from the Miami Rescue Mission.

Jon and Marilyn talked about the campaign that Connections is running to raise awareness and funds for both the Miami Rescue Mission and Broward Outreach Centers. The interview aired on November 23.

The goal of the Miami Rescue Mission/Broward Outreach Center is to help homeless men, women and families get back on their feet and out of the system. The Mission provides vital services including education, training, medical services, housing and food. In fact, they provide 85% of the food pantry distribution in Broward. They are an efficient organization that can multiply the power of every dollar you invest with them. In fact, 81 cents of each dollar donated goes directly to serving the neediest among us. Given their breadth and depth 19% overhead is tiny.
