Here in South Florida, we like to think hurricane season, and that's the disaster I need to be prepared for. Just a little aside for you, we should be prepared for a disaster period because it could be fire, theft, flood. It could be any disaster. So let's go with hurricane. Why not? So here we are in hurricane season and we should be prepared for a hurricane.
What does that mean like to be prepared? Well, hey, I backed up all of my data. Great. Good for you. Gold star. Now what? That's it. Just ask yourself that question. Now what? Well, what do you mean? Well, if the roof gets ripped off the building. Now what? What are we going to do? Well, where are we going to set up our offices?
We need all of our people to come back. Okay, the roof got ripped off the building. You have no computers. Your data is backed up. But what else are you going to do? Follow that process down and keep asking yourself, Now what? That's a great first way, first start, to getting a plan off the ground.
