Resilient Businesses Win - Here's How to Future-Proof Yours!

May 26, 2025

If we take a look at resiliency, the first thing I would suggest that we consider is, how can I separate my business from my business location? Now, that's not always possible. I mean, if you're a hardware store, you're the hardware store in the corner of such and such and such and such, right? I mean, that's what you are.

But if you're the law firm. Your law firm can be anywhere. It can move across the street or across town in a moment's notice, as long as the lawyers can get there, which means as soon as you have the freedom to be able to pick up and move. You are a prime example of someone who should be operating their operations out of a cloud environment.

Now we can go into all kinds of details of what that looks like, whether that's a data center or private or or public data center. But the issue would still be you. You wanna be resilient to where you can operate fluidly all the time. So if I have server operations tied to an office building, and it works better when I'm in the building than when I'm outside.

I'm suggesting that's an antiquated model, and that's one that you really wanna try to get yourself free from.
