Technology is Cheap; People are Expensive

Should I buy a mid-grade laptop for my employee, or should I buy a high-end laptop for my employee?  That's a simple calculation. There's a $400 difference. I'm just making this right. $1,200 for mid-grade laptop, $1,600 for a high-end laptop. I have a hundred employees. $40,000. That's real money. $40,000. The laptop life expectancy is expected to last four years.

That's what we would estimate. So four years. Now I can tell you that that laptop, the fire, the higher-end laptop over that four-year course of time should result in about five to 10 minutes of additional performance,  which means the user can do a little bit more a week.
