Connections for Business merges with Farnes Computer Systems to better serve South Florida Small Business

Connections for Business and Farnes Computer Systems announced today the merger of their business operations to offer expanded IT services to Small Businesses in South Florida.
Connections for Business will acquire the Farnes Computer Systems staff and customer contracts. The merged business will operate under the Connections for Business brand.
Farnes Computer Systems, founded in 1991, provides outsourced IT services and solutions that boost productivity, reliability, and security for small business. The Company is a market leader in managing and supporting Apple and Microsoft based environments.

The expanded business will serve 150+ small businesses across South Florida and will manage around 6,000 computing endpoints.
Connections for Business is an IT Managed Service Provider in South Florida. Founded in 1977 Connections for Business is known as South Florida’s - Original IT Company. The deal was brokered by Rich Wisniewski and Mike Dudek of Zygoquest Group. Mike Dudek & Rich Wisniewski are authors of over 500 consummated M&A transactions including many technology services acquisitions.

Will my invoice change?
Yes, as of July 1st invoices will come from Connections for Business. You may notice some line item name changes, but all dollar amounts will remain the same. Also, your June invoice will be from FCS.
Will my pricing change?
No, the pricing agreement you negotiated with FCS will remain the same.
Do I have to sign-up for new service?
No, all existing client agreements will be honored by Connections for Business.
Will my favorite tech/engineer still be there for me?
Yes, all your favorite staff are now part of Connections for Business. As time progresses, you will have the opportunity to meet new engineers in addition to continue to work with your favorite engineer.
How do I pay my invoices?
Connections for Business offers a payment portal where you can setup and manage ACH or Credit Card payments for your invoices. You will receive an email with information on how to get set up. We'll also help you through this process.
Who do I call for support?
During the transition period, you can still send email to service@fcsconnect.net and call us at 954-956-7323. Eventually we will transition to support@connections.com. The 954-956-7323 number will continue to function. In addition, you can also call Connections on their main number 954-920-9604.
What are your support hours?
Connections for Business is open M-F 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday.
What if I need support after business hours?
The company provides 24x7 support. Outside of business hours please call 954-920-9604 and a representative will take your support information. An engineer will call you back as soon as possible.
Will I like the new IT company?
YES! Connections for Business is a team of really great guys and gals. Second, we know you'll love them, and finally, the FCS team will still be here to support you.
